Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin 2017 is a Grand Cru Pinot Noir from one of the most prestigious vineyards in the world, where the soils are deeper and richer in clay than the neighbouring Clos de Bèze. The 2017 vintage allowed the Chambertin to showcase its characteristic power and internal strength alongside a surprising aromatic openness. This wine was aged for 18 months in new French oak, resulting in a profile of dark berries, forest floor, iron and smoked meat. The palate is broader and more masculine than the Clos de Bèze, with a firm tannic structure and a deep, resonance on the finish.
