Cédric Bouchard Les Ursules Roses de Jeanne 2013 is a single-vineyard Champagne produced in the Côte des Bar region, exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes. This wine is sourced from a 0.4-hectare plot in the Aube known for its unique terroir. Focusing on expressing the vineyard’s specific characteristics, Cédric Bouchard is renowned for his minimalist approach to winemaking. Les Ursules undergoes fermentation with indigenous yeasts in oak barrels. The wine is bottled without dosage, allowing the purity of the fruit to shine through, reflecting the distinct soil and microclimate of the site.

The 2013 Roses de Jeanne Blanc de Noirs Les Ursules is one of the most accessible of these wines today. Creamy, open-knit and gracious, the Ursules is graced with tremendous purity in its fruit and soft contours that make the wine easy to drink and enjoy, even at this early stage. The Ursules doesn't quite have the pedigree of the top wines in this range, but it is hugely enjoyable right now. Disgorged in April 2017 with no dosage.Antonio Galloni1st December 2017
