Carruades de Lafite 1999, the esteemed second wine of Château Lafite Rothschild, reflects the estate`s commitment to producing top-quality Bordeaux. Composed predominantly of Merlot, this vintage benefits from distinct plots, contributing to its unique character. The wine showcases aromas of red fruit, leather and subtle earthiness, alongside a structured palate with moderate tannins. Château Lafite Rothschild, known for its prestigious Grand Vin, has a winemaking heritage dating back to the 17th century.

- Medium ruby-red. Rather oaky aromas of currant and graphite. Juicy, minerally and on the dry side, with notes of raw currant and woodsmoke. Seems a bit oaky, but finishes with good grip and acidity.
