An exquisite Premier Grand Cru Classé from St-Émilion. 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. The 2003 vintage is deep red in colour. On the palate it offers warming spicy aromas together with minty notes of eucalyptus giving a wonderful freshness in spite of the vintage’s great maturity.

Vinous
Medium red. Aromas of roasted plum, redcurrant and tobacco. Then brighter in the mouth than on the nose, showing moderate depth and a juicy quality. Finishes firmly tannic and persistent. A bit subdued today.Stephen Tanzer1st May 2004
