Situated in Frankfort, Kentucky, Buffalo Trace is the oldest continuously operating distillery in the United States, with records going back to 1775. This Old Fashioned Copper (O.F.C) was distilled in 1994 and bottled as a 25-year-old vintage. It’s a bourbon with lots of cherry on the nose, followed by butterscotch and hints of brown sugar and oak. Toasted caramel, cinnamon and oak greet the palate, followed by a long finish of coffee and herbs.
