Mastrojanni Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 1990 is a full-bodied Sangiovese red wine from the Montalcino sub-region of Tuscany, central Italy. Founded in 1975, Mastrojanni has emerged as one of Montalcino`s leading producers. Wines are made from the estates` own south east-facing vineyards, and are matured for 36 months in Allier oak barrels, then a further six months in bottle before release. 1990 was a notable vintage in Tuscany, producing an abundance of long-lived Sangiovese wines.

Robert Parker
The 1990 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is a big, earthy, smoky, tobacco, coffee, dark fruit-scented and flavored wine that is medium to full-bodied, tannic, rich, and intense. Impressively made, complex, and rich, it is capable of another 10-15 years of development. - Robert M. Parker, Jr.
