From the eastern slopes of Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino Cerbaiona 1983 showcases the craftsmanship of Diego Molinari, a retired pilot who founded the estate in 1979. This wine, made from Sangiovese grapes, underwent fermentation in cement vats and was aged in large Slavonian oak barrels, resulting in a 13.5% alcohol content. The vineyard`s galestro and limestone soils impart a power and aromatic delicacy to the wine. The 1983 vintage features notes of wild strawberries, porcini mushrooms, and cedarwood, reflecting the wine`s age and the estate`s early evolution, while maintaining a balanced structure through its natural acidity.
