Duty Charges

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Bladnoch Distillery, established in 1817, is located near Wigtown in the Lowlands of Scotland. With over two centuries of whisky-making heritage, it has earned a reputation for producing elegant and refined single malts.

In 2015, the distillery underwent a significant revival under the ownership of Australian entrepreneur David Prior, who invested in restoring the historic site while staying true to its traditional methods.

This exclusive single cask was distilled in 2001 having spent 23 years maturing in a single fresh Amontillado Sherry cask, which has imparted a complex interplay of sweetness, spice, and fruit.

Aromas of dried apricots, candied orange peel mingle with hints of toasted nuts on the nose. A delicate floral undertone, characteristic of Bladnoch’s Lowland style, enhances the complexity. On the palate, expect a rich, silky mouthfeel with notes of dried fruit and orange zest, balanced by spiced honey and the nutty depth of Amontillado Sherry. The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering notes of marmalade, toasted nuts, and soft herbal touches that gently fade, leaving a sweet and warming aftertaste.

A Lowlander Reborn

Founded in the early 1800s, Bladnoch is Scotland's most southerly distillery and has sadly suffered long periods with silent stills as it was passed from owner to owner, even losing their stills entirely for a number of decades in the first half of the 20th century. The most recent custodians are determined to see Bladnoch restores and signs so far as overwhelming positive.

Australian born businessman David Prior acquired nearly 3,000 casks of mature Scotch when he purchased the distillery in 2015, some of which have been bottled to the delight of the whisky-sipping public. Add in a brand refresh with funky new packaging and the future for Bladnoch is looking bright.
