Bisquit Dubouche 1804 is a rare Cognac from the Charente region of France, representing one of the oldest extant spirits from this historic house. Distilled during the Napoleonic era, this liquid has attained a level of concentration and rancio that only centuries of wood contact can provide. The nose is profound, featuring notes of dried apricots, old leather, cedarwood and a distinct balsamic lift. On the palate the spirit is dense and oily, showcasing a seamless integration of ancient oak tannins with a core of preserved plums and exotic spices. The finish is extraordinary in its persistence, leaving a sophisticated trail of tobacco and dried flowers.
