The Bienvenues Bâtard-Montrachet Ramonet 2010 is a white Burgundy crafted from grapes sourced from one of the Côte de Beaune`s most prestigious Grand Cru vineyards. Founded in the late 1920s by Pierre Ramonet, the domaine is currently run by Noël Ramonet and his brother Jean-Claude. Old vines and low yields form the foundation of Ramonet`s viticultural ethos, and vines younger than 18 years are not used in the top cuvées. The wines are vinified using traditional methods and then aged in oak (33% new) for 12-15 months. This wine displays a structured profile with notes of stone fruit and citrus, complemented by a subtle mineral backbone, an incredibly long and impeccably balanced finish shows testament to the longevity.
