Vinous
The 2012 Beychevelle has an attractive nose that displays a little more vim and vigor than the previous vintage: brambly black fruit, sous-bois and a touch of desiccated orange peel. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grip and acidity. A mixture of red and black fruit comingle with clove and thyme, gently building towards a slightly ferrous finish. Very fine. Tasted at the Beychevelle vertical at the property.Neal Martin1st March 2023

A Classic Saint Julien Classed Growth
Reflecting the elegance and finesse of Saint Julien's finest terroirs, fourth growth Château Beychevelle spans 90ha and is renowned for its graceful and complex first wine, made from the best plots in the vineyard and that boasts a wonderful capacity for aging.
A second wine, Amiral de Beychevelle, is also made from young vines. The estate is planted to predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, together with smaller percentages of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Expect supple, balanced wines with tremendous aromatic richness.
