Château Belgrave 2014 is a product of the Fifth Growth Château Belgrave, located in the Haut-Médoc region and managed by the Dourthe family since 1979. This vintage features a blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot. The bouquet includes aromas of dark fruits, herbal notes, and subtle earthy undertones. On the palate, the wine presents a structured profile with blackberry and plum nuances accompanied by hints of spice and graphite. A reflection of a notable vintage in a respectable Bordeaux estate.

The 2014 Belgrave has a pleasant, simple nose with tarry black fruit, fresher than some of its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly austere tannins but balanced with a classically styled tobacco-tinged finish. Tasted non-blind at the Southwold 10-Year-On tasting.
