One of Piedmont`s most acclaimed wine producers, Roberto Voerzio has gained prestige for his highly sought-after Barolo wines. Cerequio is one of the most prized vineyards of the La Morra sub-zone of Barolo. This south and south east-facing site provides optimum maturity for the Nebbiolo grapes planted here, producing wines renowned for their combination of power, structure and elegance. On the 2010. "The 2010 Barolo Cerequio is a stunner. Deep, layered and absolutely impeccable, the 2010 wraps around the palate with serious intensity and never lets up. In 2010 the Cerequio is surprisingly powerful, with darker tonalities of fruit and more spice notes than normal. The sweet, silky Cerequio tannins are there, but there is a volume and breadth in the 2010 that is impossible to miss. This is a breathtaking Barolo from Roberto and Davide Voerzio." Vinous, 2014
