Ceretto Barolo Brunate Bricco Rocche 2018 is a full-bodied, single-vineyard Nebbiolo red wine from the Barolo appellation of Piedmont, northern Italy. Based in Alba, Ceretto is one of the leading estates in Piedmont, both in terms of volume and quality. The Brunate cru straddles the border of La Morra and Barolo communes. Here Ceretto owns a prized parcel of Nebbiolo vines from which it produces its Bricco Rocche cuvée – one of the estate`s very finest.

- The 2001 Barolo Brunate is a beautiful wine. Sweet dried cherries, flowers, tobacco and licorice are some of the nuances that emerge from the glass. Delicate floral and spiced notes continue to develop as the wine sits in the glass. The 2001 is in a beautiful place right now, as all of the elements are very nicely balanced. I don't see a ton of further upside in holding the 2001 much longer.
