Established in 1892, The Balvenie is a Speyside distillery under the ownership of William Grant & Sons. In recent years, it has ascended to the position of the ninth bestselling single malt, experiencing a surge in demand. The particular offering is an exceptional single cask Balvenie from 1951, which matured for an impressive 45 years before its bottling in 1996. Only 90 bottles were produced, making it a truly coveted collector`s item.

Crafted with Care
One of Speyside's most famous single malts, located in Dufftown and owned by William Grant and Sons. The distillery was founded in the late 1800s by William Grant, who worked at the Mortlach distillery nearby. Master Distiller David Stewart is credited with making Balvenie the powerhouse we know today.
David worked at Balvenie for many decades and introduced many innovations that are now widespread across the industry including 'cask finishes' where whiskies are aged for a period in ex-Bourbon wood before being finished for a relative short period in a more active barrel.
