Edition One, limited to 125 bottles, is packaged in an intricate helix structure crafted at a bespoke workshop in Cumbria. Developed by Croglin, it features 100 different elements, with four layers of wood and a 14-karat gold-plated display.
Selected by The Balvenie’s Malt Master, Kelsey McKechnie, the 50-year-old cask results in an exceptional single-malt scotch with rich flavours of caramelised fruits, spice and soft vanilla layered over delicate ginger and a subtle citrus zing. Its nose is one of deep fruits, cassis and candied apricots, with captivating notes of cedar and a warming nutty spice.

Crafted with Care
One of Speyside's most famous single malts, located in Dufftown and owned by William Grant and Sons. The distillery was founded in the late 1800s by William Grant, who worked at the Mortlach distillery nearby. Master Distiller David Stewart is credited with making Balvenie the powerhouse we know today.
David worked at Balvenie for many decades and introduced many innovations that are now widespread across the industry including 'cask finishes' where whiskies are aged for a period in ex-Bourbon wood before being finished for a relative short period in a more active barrel.
