Situated in the northern reaches of Scotland`s Speyside region, The Balvenie forms part of the trio of distilleries housed on William Grant`s expansive Dufftown site, sharing space with Glenfiddich, the initial establishment, and Kininvie, the most recent addition. This seasoned Balvenie expression undergoes an additional maturation phase within 30-year-old port pipes, contributing an enhanced dimension of depth and concentrated flavour. The result is a gracefully aged Balvenie, delivering a luscious interplay of potent fruit and smoky nuances across its silky-smooth, full-bodied palate.

Crafted with Care
One of Speyside's most famous single malts, located in Dufftown and owned by William Grant and Sons. The distillery was founded in the late 1800s by William Grant, who worked at the Mortlach distillery nearby. Master Distiller David Stewart is credited with making Balvenie the powerhouse we know today.
David worked at Balvenie for many decades and introduced many innovations that are now widespread across the industry including 'cask finishes' where whiskies are aged for a period in ex-Bourbon wood before being finished for a relative short period in a more active barrel.
