This is one of three releases in The Balvenie Stories collection, a 14-year-old peated single malt first launched in 2019. Bottled at 48.3% ABV, this is a classic Balvenie expression, with notes of honey, vanilla, dark chocolate, hints of marzipan and citrus fruit, with an additional layer of ethereal smokiness.

Crafted with Care
One of Speyside's most famous single malts, located in Dufftown and owned by William Grant and Sons. The distillery was founded in the late 1800s by William Grant, who worked at the Mortlach distillery nearby. Master Distiller David Stewart is credited with making Balvenie the powerhouse we know today.
David worked at Balvenie for many decades and introduced many innovations that are now widespread across the industry including 'cask finishes' where whiskies are aged for a period in ex-Bourbon wood before being finished for a relative short period in a more active barrel.
