Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Auchroisk 21 Year Old Old Malt Cask 1990 is a Speyside single malt bottled by Hunter Laing. Distilled in 1990 and matured for 21 years in a single cask, this spirit was bottled at the signature 50% ABV of the series. The nose is deep and concentrated, showing notes of dark chocolate, dried figs, tobacco and honeyed oak. On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied and velvety, displaying a concentrated fruit character balanced by a sophisticated spicy structure. The long ageing has integrated the wood perfectly, resulting in a spirit of great balance and complexity. It finishes with extraordinary length and a persistent note of toasted nuts and dark berries, showcasing the benefits of patient maturation for the Auchroisk spirit.

An Elegant and Delicate Speysider

Located in Mulben, Banffshire, Auchroisk (pronounced ‘OH-thrusk’) distillery was built in 1974 by Justerini & Brooks in order to establish a secure supply of malt whisky for its J&B blended whisky brand. From very early on in its life, however, it began to release lightly spiced Speyside single malt.

In 1986 Auchroisk’s classic 12-year-old single malt was rebranded as Singleton in order to appeal to a broader range of consumers. That first bottling of Singleton involved finishing 10-year-old ex-Bourbon cask-matured whisky in ex-Sherry casks –the first example of this finishing process. To this day the distillery maintains its core role supplying malt whisky for blends while also producing a range of single malts, principally the Auchroisk Flora and Fauna 10-year-old, which was first released under the original Gaelic name in 2001.

An unpeated malt, Auchroisk is relatively light in aroma with its level of spiciness depending principally on the wood used for maturation – European oak being used to create more spiciness and American oak for a mellower character.
