The Aubert Park Avenue Estate Vineyard Chardonnay 2022 is a full-bodied, opulent white wine from the Sonoma Coast of California. Sourced from a vineyard plot situated between the Lauren and CIX vineyards, it showcases a concentrated Californian style balanced by firm structure. The wine presents an intense and complex aromatic profile featuring notes of gunpowder, grated lemon rind, lemon curd, hazelnut butter and flint. The palate delivers waves lime, pear and melon, with exotic hints of orange confit and jasmine. Possessing great textural depth and power, the wine is driven by a racy line of acidity that ensures focus and a very long, crisp finish. The 2022 is available here in magnum format.

Sublime Pinot Noir and Chardonnay

Aubert was founded by Mark and Theresa Aubert in 2000, located on the famous Silverado trail in Calistoga. Before he and his partner opened Aubert, Mark had gained experience at the Peter Michael Winery and Colgin Cellars and also made wine at a 'custom crush' facility in California. Aubert have some proprietary vineyards, around three and half acres in Sonoma, which they bottle under the 'UV' label. The remainder of the fruit is sourced from selected vineyards across Sonoma and Napa.

In the world of wine, Aubert is really a byword for world-class single vineyard or single block Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The vineyards they source from represent a mix of terroirs and include some old vines as well as some recent plantings. What remains consistent through all these bottlings is the preservation of fruit character and an extreme obsession with quality.
