Ganevat Antide 2015 is a medium-bodied white wine produced from Savagnin grapes in the Jura region of France. Jean-Francois Ganevat is one of the most celebrated producers of the Jura region and is a leading light in biodynamic viticulture and natural winemaking. Having trained in Beaune and worked at Domaine Jean-Marc Morey for almost a decade, in 1998 he returned to take the helm at his family estate, the 14th generation of his family to do so. The Antide cuvée is produced with fruit from three different vineyards averaging 45 years of age and includes a high proportion of Savagnin Jaune, a special strain of the Savagnin grape variety. "2015 is the first vintage of this wine, which has some toasty notes and hints of almonds, with some bitterness in the flavours... This is more opulent, has more volume, and feels a tad heavier than the other Savagnin, despite having the citrus character of the year." Wine Advocate, 2017
