Pascal Agrapart is one of the finest winemakers in the Côte de Blancs. He farms old vines organically and produces terroir-driven, but powerful, wines. Terroirs is 100% Chardonnay from two vintages with all fruit sourced from Grand Crus Avize, Over, Cramant and Oiry. Bright, racy, ripe and saline. Dosage is 5g/L.
95 The Wine Independent
Terroirs Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru NV is an assemblage of four Côte de Blancs Grand Cru cuvées from old vine plantings in Avize, Cramant, Oger and Oiry. This Terroirs is 40% from the 2018 and 2019 vintages and fermented in stainless steel, with 60% reserve wine kept in oak, aged 36 to 40 months on lees and finished with a four gram per liter dosage. Complex and redolent of Meyer lemon curd, crushed stone, butter pastry, almond nougat and honeysuckle, the medium-bodied palate has an electrified, silky acid energy flowing through a richly textured, citrusy mid-palate with a soft chalky grip. Beautifully layered, refreshing and balanced throughout, the finish goes on and on. — Sarah Mayo, 8th November 2023
94 Vinous
The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Terroirs Grand Cru is unusual in that it is a blend of three vintages (2021, 2020 and 2019) instead of the more typical two, because of very low yields in 2021. There's real density and power here, but not at the expense of Côtes des Blancs citrus, floral and mineral character. As always, the Terroirs is a blend of parcels in Avize, Oger, Cramant and Oiry, all Grand Crus. The blend is 20% 2021 and 80% split between 2020 and 2019. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: March 2025; multiple disgorgements throughout the year. — Antonio Galloni, 25th November 2025
93 Robert Parker
Based on the 2022 vintage, vinified in tank, but with a preponderance of reserve wines from 2021 and 2020—also vinified in tank but matured in demi-muids—Agrapart’s new NV Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Terroirs reveals an aromatic profile of orange oil, pear, nectarine and freshly baked bread. The medium- to full-bodied palate is charming and pillowy, endowed with a generous core of fruit and underpinned by ripe yet vibrant acidity. It is an expressive and demonstrative rendition that will drink well out of the gate. It was disgorged in October 2025 with a dosage of three grams per liter. — Kristaps Karklins, 12th March 2026
16 Jancis Robinson
100% Chardonnay from four grands crus. 80% 2019, 20% 2018. Dosage 5 g/l. Disgorged February 2023.
Sour-cream and cooked-apple nose. Loose bead but it's by no means flabby. Like the 7 Crus, it has breadth but the fruit tastes riper and richer. Peaches and very intense citrus. Round finish. (TC) — Tamlyn Currin, 11th March 2024
