Ripe strawberry and rose petal on the perfumed, slightly liqueur-like nose, with a peachy nuance emerging with aeration. Plush, sweet and vibrant, with terrific sappy energy to the flavors of red fruits and spices. Finishes perfumed and very long, with the sweetest tannins of this set of 2008 Barbarescos. This is at another level of quality.
