Amrut, a well-established distillery renowned for pioneering the production of single malt whiskies in India, has gained international recognition for its distinct range of spirits. Established in 1947, just before India gained independence, the company is currently headquartered in Bangalore. The term ‘Fusion’ aptly characterizes this unique single malt whisky from Amrut. It is crafted using barley sourced from India and peated barley imported from Scotland. The result is a remarkable whisky, boasting abundant notes of fresh fruit, honey, spice, and a pronounced hint of smoke.
