Pinot Blanc

A highly versatile white grape variety, known as ‘Pinot Blanc’ in France, ‘Pinot Bianco’ in north east Italy, and ‘Weissburgunder’ in Germany. Most commonly grown in France and Italy, the variety is used to produce both still and sparkling dry wine styles. Pinot Blanc tends to produce refreshing, simple white wines with apple and pear character, together with high acidity.
