Kyro Distillery

The company produces regular small batches of whisky (and gin) from a 1,200-litre copper still. There are three regular whisky product lines: Kyrö Malt, Kyrö Wood Smoke and Kyrö’s Choice.

Kyrö’s flagship Single Malt Rye Whisky is double-distilled and matured in new American white oak casks. For the Kyrö Wood Smoke malt rye whisky, the rye is traditionally smoked with alder smoke. The final whisky is matured in ex-Bourbon French oak and new American white oak casks. Finally, Kyrö’s Choice, introduced in 2021, is a rye whisky finished in Marsala casks and specially made for the German market.
