Four Roses
A Kentucky Icon
Four Roses is one of the most celebrated names in Kentucky Bourbon. The historic Four Roses distillery (initially known as the Old Prentice Distillery) was constructed on the banks of the Salt River in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, in 1910. However the brand traces its roots back to the 1888s – this is when Louisville whisky and tobacco salesman Paul Jones Jr (who would go on to co-found the Frankfort Distillery in Kentucky) first trademarked the Four Roses name.
