Emilia-Romagna

The southernmost region of northern Italy, Emilia-Romagna is home to the unique sparkling red wine, Lambrusco. Usually dry in style, this is a lovely wine to enjoy chilled, in its youth. Produced from the family of red Lambrusco varieties including Lambrusco di Sorbara, Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco Grasparossa, giving bright red fruit character together with floral aromas, mineral notes and refreshing acidity. The region also serves up a lovely array of still wines.
