The Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits appellation covers around 750 hectares of vineyards along the higher slopes of the Côte de Nuits sub-region of Burgundy, producing red, white and rosé wines. Overlooking Gevrey-Chambertin and extending as far as Corton, the majority of plantings in the Hautes Côtes are Pinot Noir, while Chardonnay is the dominant white grape variety.
