Lalande-de-Pomerol

Situated to the north of Pomerol (from which it is separated from by the Barbanne stream), Lalande-de-Pomerol produces lush, Merlot-led reds providing excellent value at a fraction of the price of its great neighbour. The appellation encompasses the two communes of Lalande-de-Pomerol and Néac providing a range of soil types from silty clay to gravel. Enjoy exploring the well-structured red blends of Les Hauts Conseillants, or look to rising star, Château Chambrun, for wonderfully plump and opulent red Bordeaux.
