Taylor’s Victory Port 80 Year Old Tawny NV is a non-vintage fortified wine hailing from the historic Douro Valley in Portugal. This release commemorates the 80th anniversary of World War II and is among the first Ports recognised under the 80-Year-Old Tawny Port classification by the IVDP. Crafted from a select blend of traditional grape varieties, it has matured for eight decades in seasoned oak casks at Taylor’s historic cellars. The wine showcases a mahogany hue, with notable aromas of nuts, dried fruit, and subtle spice, presenting a complex palate with depth and balance. Taylor`s has a legacy dating back to 1692, making it one of the oldest Port houses in existence.

Fine Port Since 1692

Established over three centuries ago in 1692, Taylor’s is one of the oldest Port houses. Noted for their for their restrained power and longevity, Taylor’s Vintage Ports are blended from the finest wines of the firm’s own quintas or estates, Vargellas, Terra Feita and Junco, with each property occupying a distinct geographic location and contributing their own unique character to the blend. Taylor’s is also respected as a producer of wood-aged ports and holds one of the largest reserves of rare cask aged wines from which its distinguished aged tawny Ports are drawn. Added to that, the house is also known as the originator of Late Bottled Vintage style of Port.

Headquartered in Oporto with vineyards across the Douro Valley the company is closely involved in all stages of the production of its Ports, from the planting of the vineyard and the cultivation of the grapes to the making, ageing, blending and bottling of the wines.
