Pol Roger Vintage 2013 is a traditional blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Epernay. This 2013 release follows the house requirement of sourcing solely from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs. Cool conditions during the 2013 growing season preserved high natural acidity, which provides the framework for the ripe stone fruit and citrus characters. The wine underwent a cool fermentation in stainless steel to maintain purity before resting for eight years in the deep chalk cellars. It possesses a fine, persistent mousse and a crisp, mineral-driven finish that reflects the late-ripening nature of the year.
