One For The Next 60 Year Old from the House of Hazelwood`s Charles Gordon Collection NV is a notable single grain Scotch whisky with roots in the distinguished Girvan Distillery, operational since 1964. This 60-year-old expression is part of a comprehensive series set to release over 100 years, reflective of the Gordon family`s commitment to whisky excellence. Tasting notes reveal an intriguing profile that balances orchard fruits with a zest of citrus, alongside a rich, creamy texture. This release symbolises a long-term vision for future whisky aficionados.

Age, Provenance and Rarity

For almost one hundred years, generations of the Gordon family have carefully laid down stocks of whisky for special occasions and personal consumption. This rare collection has become known as House of Hazelwood, after the family’s Dufftown home – Hazelwood House.

Today, the collection has grown to become the greatest inventory of aged Scotch whisky held anywhere in the world. Spanning seven decades and every corner of Scotland. The House of Hazelwood range represents the first time bottlings from these casks have been made available to the public. Each whisky is as interesting as it is unique whether they are rare old blends which have been maturing for decades or casks from long-closed distilleries.
