Louis Roederer Brut Rosé 2019 is a vintage rosé Champagne from the iconic Louis Roederer in Reims. The Louis Roederer vineyards are located in three classic Champagne districts. the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs, with 240 hectares situated exclusively in the Grands and Premiers Crus of the Marne. The diversity and fertility of these sites provide the House with an extensive and rich palette from which to fashion the wines from the three main champagne varieties. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, marrying sumptuous fruit and youthful freshness with the vinosity and depth of mature wines. Winemaker notes. ""A snapshot of a year, this rosé comes from 35 small staggered plots on the warm terroirs of our `La Rivière` estate planted with Pinot Noir, and the cooler limestone soils where the Chardonnay thrives. Born mostly from our vines in Cumières, this rosé benefits from a long and soft infusion of the Pinot Noir that allows the extraction of the juice and ripeness all the while preserving this great saline freshness."

The 2016 Brut Rosé is charming. Soft and inviting, the 2016 will drink beautifully right out of the gate. Readers will find a beautifully perfumed, gracious Rosé. The 2016 is not the richest or most complex vintage Rosé Roederer has released lately, but it is impeccably balanced and very easy to enjoy for its sensual personality. If I have one critique, is that the dosage feels a bit high. Dosage is 8 grams per liter.
