The Grosset Polish Hill Riesling 2024 is an Australian dry Riesling from the Clare Valley. Sourced from the low-yielding, biodynamically farmed Polish Hill vineyard with its characteristic slate and shale soils, this wine is a result of a cool growing season yielding pristine fruit. The aromatic profile features jasmine floral lift, green apple, soft lime elements, and notes of ginger cake and saline minerality. The palate is intense, finely structured, and laser-like with concentrated citrus and minerality, culminating in a long, bone-dry finish with a talcum powder structure and ancient slate texture.

This is a benchmark in Australian Riesling and widely loved by collectors. The wine ages gracefully and slowly; the latent power that is stowed away on release is revealed in time, making this one of the greats in Australia. So here, the 2024 Polish Hill Riesling is thunderous and rolling in its intensity and energy. The citrus fruits gather speed over a grounding of crushed rocks and minerals, while the finish culminates in a sandstorm of flavor and texture. This is an excellent wine. It is fleshy and powerful, tightly coiled and salty. It`s so good. 12.1% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. - Erin Larkin

The 2024 Riesling Polish Hill jumps out of the glass with its purity and exotic guava, melon, citrus aromas, keeping a bright, well-composed shape. Chalky textures and firm acidity provide a strong base to its flavors in an angular, acid-driven style with undeniable power and length. Angus Hughson12th August 2025

Deeper flavours than the Mount Horrocks Watervale Riesling on the nose. Real vibrancy and strong lime flavours – not Germanic but impressive Clare Riesling with real energy. But not ready! (JR)
