This Glenfiddich was distilled in 1973 and released decades later as part of the distillery`s rare vintage collections, at 33 years old. Glenfiddich`s house style of fresh pear, apple and honey, built through long ageing in a mix of American oak casks, develops here into something deeper and more complex. dried fruit, toffee, gentle spice and a rounder, waxier texture, with oak influence adding structure without overpowering the spirit`s natural elegance. A refined, old-school Speyside single malt suited to collectors and patient sippers alike.

The World's Favourite Single Malt

Founded in Dufftown in 1886 by William Grant, the first whisky ran off the stills at Glenfiddich on Christmas Day in 1887. The distillery is located in the glen of the river Fiddich, a name derived from the Scottish Gaelic Gleann Fhiodhiach or "valley of the deer". Now one of the most famous and best selling single malts in the world, Glenfiddich made their name producing an easy drinking, mellower style of Scottish whisky, epitomised by their iconic 12 year old.

Beyond the core range, a series of limited edition single cask bottlings showcase the age-worthiness of Glenfiddich while a series of experimental bottlings demonstrate the team are not afraid of progress and innovation - see Glenfiddich Orchard Experiment, which is finished in ex-English apple brandy casks and Glenfiddich IPA Finish, which spends time maturing in casks that previously held India Pale Ale.
