Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

E Guigal Condrieu La Doriane 2022 is a full-bodied white wine produced from Viognier grapes in the northern Rhône Valley of France. Produced from selected terroirs of this famed appellation, La Doriane is an intensely aromatic wine matured exclusively in new oak barrels for 12 months, with 100% malolactic fermentation. Expect heady notes of jasmine, apricot and white peach, and a rich, rounded palate.

The fabulous 2022 Condrieu La Doriane unfurls with pronounced quince, apricot, vanilla, yellow apple, lemon peel and cedar aromatics. Spring blossom and melon nuances add more layers. Juicy and layered, there’s terrific inner energy and balance within this outstanding 2022. It is neither fat nor heavy, but instead totally fresh and refined, finishing with stone fruit and floral-driven persistence.

Fermented and matured in 100% new oak, the 2022 Condrieu la Doriane is less oaky and spicy than expected, evoking a charming, vibrant bouquet of honeysuckle, ripe orchard fruits and flowers mingled with delicate rose notes. Full-bodied, dense and enveloping, it`s layered with a fleshy core of fruit and a sweet, broad mid-palate that leads to a spicy, long and lovely reductive finish. This blend of five different lieux-dits (Cote Chatillon, Chery, Vernon, all in the commune of Condrieu; Volan in the commune of Malleval; and Colombier in the commune of St-Michel-sur-Rhône) will offer a broad drinking window.

Benchmark for Côte-Rôtie excellence

Founded in the village of Ampuis by Etienne Guigal in 1946, Domaine Guigal is one of the most revered and unwaveringly consistent estates in the Rhône Valley, and is often seen as a benchmark for Côte-Rôtie Syrah. A pioneer of the single-vineyard concept in this appellation Guigal is best known for its top three wines, known affectionately as the 'La-Las', which is short for La Landonne, La Mouline and La Turque – the domaine's top Syrah vineyards .

Other notable vineyards of this 75-hectare estate include La Doriane (the source of Guigal's Condrieu), Ex-Voto (used for Hermitage) and Vignes de l'Hospice (the source of one of Guigal's top St-Joseph Syrahs). All of these have become benchmark wines of their respective appellations. The Crozes-Hermitage appellation completes the roster of Northern Rhône estate vineyards.

Since 2006, Guigal has made a substantial investment in appellations of the Southern Rhône, using top-quality purchased fruit from trusted growers in Châteaneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Tavel and the Côtes du Rhône.
