Château La Mascaronne 2024 is a notable release from this organic estate located in the Côtes de Provence. Under the stewardship of Michel Reybier, also known for Château Cos d`Estournel, the estate focuses on sustainable practices. The blend is typically Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Rolle (Vermentino). This magnum format allows for extended cellaring, enhancing integration and complexity over time. Château La Mascaronne comprises a 60-hectare vineyard, benefiting from a distinctive terroir of limestone and clay at a 300-metre altitude.

The 2024 Rosé is once again an archetype of Provençal Rosé. Floral lift and salty minerality enliven a base layer of sweet golden nectarine, green apple and spiced cranberry. This is absolutely mouthwatering and superbly crushable, but it also has enough complexity to be at home with lighter fare. Balance here is impeccable. Billy Norris27th May 2025

The 2024 Côtes de Provence Rosé Château La Mascaronne opens with inviting notes of pomegranate, spices and delicate floral hints. Moderately weighted, juicy and round on the palate, it is lifted by bright acidity and concludes with a gently spicy, refreshing finish. This is an undisclosed blend of Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Syrah and Rolle , all organically farmed. - Yohan Castaing

Full clear bottle 1,480 g. 45% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, 15% Syrah and 15% Rolle. From Michel Reybier, owner of Cos d`Estournel, via Le-Luc-en-Provence in the hills well inland of St-Tropez. ??Handpicked and cool-, slow-fermented. Certified organic.Very pale salmon. Light, clean nose. Emphatic fruit on the front palate and then it finishes satisfyingly savoury, dry and saline, even though it`s not that close to the sea. (JR)
