Founded in 1898, Benromach is a Speyside distillery currently owned by Gordon and MacPhail of Elgin. This 40-year-old expression is a lively and vibrant single malt, boasting aromas of dates, raisins, orange peel and poached pears. On the palate, the whisky is creamy, combining notes of cherries, dark chocolate, oak spices and a touch of smoke. The finish is long, with some charcoal and herbal touches.
