The Lacken 1.1 is a whisky of single farm origin, produced by Waterford Distillery. It was distilled from barley cultivated at Francis Kehoe`s Lacken farm in County Wexford, situated just two miles east of New Ross near the Wexford-Kilkenny border along the River Barrow. The exceptional quality of the barley is attributed to the unique local environment. Utilizing a combination of ex-Bourbon, new oak, French oak, Port, and Marsala wood, the single malt offers remarkable complexity and a textured mouthfeel.
