Enzo Pontoni is one of Italy’s premier cult winemakers. Working 13 hectares in the Colli Orientali DOC yields are miniscule and only 1,500 bottles of the 2017 Pettarin Ribolla Gialla were produced. As with many of the Miani whites, the nose offers a riotous, yet supremely well defined, gamut of tropical fruit, apricot, flowers and minerals. It is lush, medium to full-bodied, entirely mouth-filling and possessive of an extremely lengthy finish.
