All of the qualities found in the original release are amped up in the 1976 Dom Pérignon Œnothèque (Disgorged 2003). Unctuous and deep the 1976 Œno is a real powerhouse, but all of that intensity is nicely countered by the wine’s brightness and energy. Oenothèque is the late-release, cellar-aged series from Dom Pérignon. Honeysuckle, plums and roasted notes on the nose are accompanied by an opulent palate with a hint of blood orange bitterness.
