The Bibi Graetz 2021 Colore is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes from old vines. The winemaking process and oak treatment closely mirror that of his other prestigious red, Testamatta. For this particular wine, the grapes are sourced from the elevated Lamole region, perched at an impressive 600 meters above sea level. Some of the vineyards face south, situated high on the mountainside. Colore embodies the vibrant essence and vitality of Sangiovese, unveiling notes of violet, wild cherry, and hints of orange zest. It reveals an earthy dimension and offers a well-defined texture, driven by exceptionally fine and smooth tannins, and finishing on a sweet cherry note.
