Tepextate offers a lighter body with a bright candied fruit nose of banana taffy and spun sugar. The sweetness carries into the palate with notes of passion fruit and marzipan. A light cinnamon note of canela (organic Mexican sugar) lies in the background with floral notes of honeysuckle.

Hand crafted, it is twice distilled, very slowly in small wood-fired, riverside copper stills to flavor specifications that underscore its versatility in cocktails. Another masterpiece out of San Luis del Rio, it has a nose of fruit aromatics, a hint of honey, vanilla and roast agave; the palate offers ginger, cinnamon, burnt sandalwood, banana and tangerine, with a long, soft finish. Viva VIDA!

Another fantastic single estate Mezcal from Del Maguey, this time from the Valles Centrales region of Oaxaca. Produced using 8 - 10 year old agave, this mind-blowing distillate is first fermented in traditional wooden vats for around 12 days before being distilled in tiny batches on a traditional copper potstill.

Notes of juicy pear, cracked black pepper and lemon oil burst out on the nose while the full-bodied palate offers notes of smoked chillies and roasted agave. The finish is clean, pure and complex.

Del Maguey Pechuga

Del Maguey Pechuga is made in very small batches in the village of Santa Catarina Minas, with 100% Espadín agave. The spirit is naturally fermented and distilled three times in traditional clay stills with bamboo tubing. A peculiar expression of mezcal in which apples, plums, red plantains, pineapples, almonds and even a chicken breast are used in the third distillation.
