Krug Collection is a cellar-aged late release of Krug Vintage and provides a deeper story of the vintage. 1988 provided ideal conditions with exceptionally balanced fruit and 29 years of ageing has enabled infinite layers of elegant complexity to develop. On the nose, it is exotic with white fruit, truffle, spice and honey. The palate reveals orange blossom, fig, cinnamon and maple syrup.

Krug Rosé 24ème Édition was created around the 2012 harvest, a memorable year with low yields, resulting in 20% fewer grapes. The nose of this cuvée reveals floral aromas of rose hips and peonies, plus mulberries, redcurrants, some pepper and pink grapefruit. The palate has delicate flavours of honey, lemon zest and dried fruits, with a long finish, rounded up by very fine bubbles.

Clos du Mesnil is a rare blanc de blancs produced only in exceptional years from a single, tiny 1.84ha plot in the heart of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The nose is rich yet elegant with delicate but defined citrus fruit, white pepper, griddled nuts and brioche. The palate is a seamless triumph of creamy peach and orange fruit, tensile acidity and an incredibly long, chalk-flecked finish. The 2002 is a profound wine.

Krug Grande Cuvée is re-created every year and the 168ème Édition is based on the 2012 harvest complemented by 42% reserve wines from 11 different vintages dating back to 1996. This is a sensational release with abundant aromas of white flowers, fresh and dried citrus, marzipan, toasted nuts and gingerbread. On the palate it is full-bodied and generous with a deep core of fruit and a wonderfully silky, refined mousse. Immediately enjoyable and ready to drink, however, Grande Cuvée has an excellent track record for ageing and this can be expected to improve over the next couple of decades.
