Haut Brion is considered by many to be one of the finest wines in the world and was ranked in the First Growth category during the 1855 classification of Bordeaux wines. 1961 was deemed an outstanding vintage and has remained youthful despite its considerable years of maturation. Here is a wine with presence. blackcurrant and blackberry mingle with tertiary meaty, tobacco smoke and chocolate aromas. Drinking beautifully now.
