Buffalo Trace OFC 1996

Buffalo Trace OFC 1996 is a vintage-dated sour mash Bourbon whiskey produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. OFC is the flagship expression of Buffalo Trace, a Bourbon which, in terms of maturity, complexity and authenticity, represents the high watermark of the distillery’s production. It was created as a tribute to Colonel EH Taylor Jr and the distillery he created in Frankfort, Kentucky, in 1870. This OFC was distilled in 1996 and offers notes of cherry cordial, caramel and smoked oak on the nose followed by dark chocolate, tobacco, dates and cinnamon on the palate.
