First established in 1849 by Franz Peter Buhl, Reichsrat von Buhl is an organic wine producer with a diverse portfolio of terroir-driven wines, based primarily on two varieties, Riesling and Pinot Noir. Forster Pechstein is one of the most distinctive sites in the Pfalz, a ‘grand cru’ of this wine region. The nose suggests orange, apricot, apple, sweet spices and even tropical notes. On the palate, this is a smooth and balanced Riesling, boasting a medium body and high acidity.
