Gobelsburg Tradition 3 Year Old Ed 852

Schloss Gobelsburg Tradition 3 Year Old Ed 852 is a full-bodied, multi-vintage white wine from the Kamptal region of Austria. Schloss Gobelsburg is one of the oldest wineries in the Austrian Danube area with a documented history that dates back to 1171. The estate`s Tradition range harks back to the 19th-century tradition of winemaking and follows many of the methods used during these pre-industrial times. This includes using a basket press for pressing, fermentation without temperature control in traditional, large Manhartsberg oak casks and racking every three to four months for about two years until the wine is ready to be bottled. Edition 852 is a blend of 80% Grüner Veltliner and 20% Riesling, with 85% of the blend coming from the 2018 vintage, 10% from 2017 and 5% from 2016.
