A new release from the Venezuelan rum brand Diplomático, the 2007 Single Vintage bottling was launched in 2022 and joins their Prestige Range. The liquid was aged for 12 years mainly in ex-bourbon barrels and single malt whisky casks and finished for another 12 months in Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a velvety, well-rounded expression, boasting sweet notes of ripe fruit, toasted wood, dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans.
